In September 2010, upon approval by the CNCA, China Inspection Company Limited (Hong Kong) established China Inspection Company Limited Taiwan Branch. With the mission of delivering trust and serving the economic and trade facilitation of the Mainland, Hong Kong and Macao, and Taiwan, Taiwan Branch is dedicated to promote cross-strait economic and trade contact and expand cross-strait exchanges, and expand the inspection, test and certification market. At present, it has set its headquarters in the important area in Taipei and 4 inspection service points in Kaohsiung, Taichung, Tao-Yuan and Keelung. It carries out recycling scrap pre-shipment inspection, old mechanical and electrical equipment pre-shipment inspection, etc.

II. Matters the Applicant Should Coordinate

  • The applicant or shipper is obliged to notify the container number to be inspected in advance and coordinate the towage related matters first.
  • The applicant or shipper is obliged to ensure the safety of loading and avoid dumping of goods when the box is opened, etc.

I. Application and Inspection Process

II. Matters the Applicant Should Coordinate

(I) Documents to be provided in application (The Application can be faxed or emailed to the Company)

  • Completed "Imported Old Mechanical and Electrical Products Pre-shipment Inspection Application" and "Data Sheet of Equipment Applied for Inspection"
  • "Imported Old Mechanical and Electrical Products Pre-shipment Inspection Registration" and the attached "List of Imported Old Mechanical and Electrical Products"
  • Letter of Authorization for singing relevant inspection documents on site by the authorized representative of the registration applicant
  • Packing list for this transaction (if the goods have been boxed)
  • The applicant’s description of the functions and purposes of the imported old mechanical and electrical products

Note: When necessary, the applicant should provide the original of the above documents for reference.

(II) Inspection Coordination

  • The applicant or shipper is obliged to timely provide necessary conditions for onsite inspection (including safety) and designate a representative to assist in handling relevant matters and signing documents.
  • Remove the package (if any) of goods to be inspected in advance.
